Another Dare2draw Night

It was Dare2draw again, and this time it was bigger and better. The new place is ADC Global Network. The celebration started with special guess artist Amy Reeder , Shane Davis and guess of honor Bill Sienkiewicz. Here are my sketches of the night.

This pose here was the longest pose of the night, I believe it was 10 minutes. It's nice that I can still see the sketch on the other sheet.

My version of Rocket Girl for the "Reload Sketchbook Contest" at the event, but I didn't win--- according to Amy my sketch wasn't good enough. I'm only kidding, that sketch was nice & very carefully arranged.

NEXUS FOR THE SKETCHBOOK CONTEST AT THE DARE2DRAW EVENT

My sketch for the monthly contest at the Society of Illustrator. I hope I could win and get some cool prizes like art supplies which I always need but I don't go there for the prizes this event is more like a place to meet up  new coming artists, make friends, sketch live models and to let off some steam. EL SENOR MURCIELAGO -AKA MR. BAT

Another character for "THE LIBERTINE" story. An old scientist that had his transformation to become a bat a failure, had no other choice than to use one of Leonardo Da' Vinci flying machine. Yeap! it doesn't look pretty.

Me and my boy Jimmy are working on a new idea we have to make a comic and here are some of the characters that had made it to the drawing board.

PUNK ROCK JESUS

Punk Rock Jesus is a comic written and drawn by Sean Murphy, and a few weeks ago he was @ dare2draw as the special guess artist. He's a wonderful guy and he artwork is AMAZING! you should check him out when you get the chance. I forgot to mention that dare2draw has a "Quickdraw Contest" where everyone is welcome to participate. This event takes place the same night the Dare2draw event is held. These two drawings won 3rd and 1st place at the event.

This one was the 3rd place finisher on the "Quickdraw Contest"

And this one on the bottom won 1st place for the "Sketchbook Contest" As you can see the theme here was to create your own version of Punk Rock Jesus.
