MY PORTRAIT PAINTINGS FROM LAST SEMESTER AT SVA

This is my first full nude painting I have ever done, it's only 18"x24" I'm planning to make a bigger one next time. 

And on this painting it is also my first portrait of an African American model. I thought I was going to have a difficult time to get hers skin tones but I was able to get a good one. Oil on Canvas 16"x20".

I've been working hard lately on my oil paintings. Here are my latest pieces. Keep in mind that all these portraits were done from a live models , except for the one of my son Brandon which I used an old picture. I wish you could see them up-close because these photographs were taken with my iPhone.

Another Dare2draw Night

It was Dare2draw again, and this time it was bigger and better. The new place is ADC Global Network. The celebration started with special guess artist Amy Reeder , Shane Davis and guess of honor Bill Sienkiewicz. Here are my sketches of the night.
